CELLARS DE CAPCANES – Cap Sentit Orange

100% white Grenache

Beginning of September
 

Vinification:
This "orange" wine made with 100% white Grenache, goes through a long process of maceration in contact with the skins and seeds, to achieve an extra contribution of color and tannicity, a typical process in the vinification of red wines.

  • 15-day maceration with skins and seeds
  • Fermentation in stainless steel at acontrolled temperature (16ºC)
  • Lightly pressed
  • Breeding on lees
  • Slight clarification to obtain a clean wine
     

Production:

Approximately 15,000 bottles (75cl.)
 

Analysis:
13% vol. alcohol
5 g/l tartaric acid
1 g/l residual sugar
 

Tasting note:
Intense golden color with amber reflections. The nose reminds of peach, apricot and notes of ripe or chopped fruit. mouth unctuous with slight acidity and a generous, structured body.
 

Pairing:

This Orange wine stands out for its structure and body andpairs beautifully with the sweet and spicy flavours of Thaicuisine. Its versatility makes it ideal to accompany bothblue fish and to enhance white meats.
